MEMPHIS, Feb. 27 (UPI) -- Willie Kemp sparked Memphis' first-half run Wednesday and the No. 3 Tigers shook off their first loss of the season to down Tulsa 82-67.

Memphis had a 47-game home winning streak halted Saturday in a 66-62 setback to Tennessee, which replaced the Tigers as the nation's top-ranked team before falling Tuesday at Vanderbilt.

Kemp scored 14 points and both Doneal Mack and Shawn Taggart had 12 for Memphis (27-1, 13-0 Conference USA). The Tigers wrapped up at least a share of the conference title with their 30th consecutive regular-season league win.

Tulsa (15-11, 6-7) was led by Ray Reese with 18. The Golden Hurricane had won five straight games.

After Tulsa took a quick 8-5 lead, Memphis went on a 33-6 outburst that included 16 straight points. Kemp made three consecutive three-pointers during the run.
