COL BKB: Indiana 72, Ohio State 69

BLOOMINGTON, Ind., Feb. 26 (UPI) -- Armon Bassett scored 23 points and Eric Gordon had 17 points Tuesday in 12th-ranked Indiana's 72-69 victory over Ohio State.

Indiana (24-4, 13-2 Big Ten) has won four straight and seven of its last eight games. The Hoosiers are tied with Wisconsin for first place in the Big Ten Conference.

The Hoosiers improved to 2-0 under interim Coach Dan Dakich, who replaced Kelvin Sampson Friday after Sampson resigned amidst accusations of five NCAA rules violations.

D.J. White had 16 points and eight rebounds for Indiana.

Kosta Koufos led Ohio State with 21 points and six rebounds, and Evan Turner had 13 points and seven rebounds. The Buckeyes (17-11, 8-7), have lost three games in a row.
