NHL: Phoenix 2, St. Louis 0

GLENDALE, Ariz., Feb. 24 (UPI) -- The Phoenix Coyotes beat the St. Louis Blues 2-0 Sunday behind the goaltending of Ilya Bryzgalov, who blocked 35 shots.

The shutout was Bryzgalov's second this season.

Zbynek Michalek scored in the second period and Joel Perrault in the third for Phoenix. Keith Ballard and Steve Reinprecht each assisted on a goal.

Manny Legace had 18 saves for the Blues.
