
NASHVILLE, Feb. 24 (UPI) -- Mike Ribeiro had two goals and two assists Saturday to lift the Dallas Stars to a 6-3 victory against the Nashville Predators.
Dallas settled the issue by scoring three times in the second period after a 1-1 tie at the first intermission.
Ribeiro's 25th goal this season snapped the tie at 5:59 of the second and his 26th (unassisted) capped the three-goal second.
Brenden Morrow had a goal and three assists. Loui Erikson and Antti Miettinen both scored once while Mike Smith saved 24 of 27 shots for the Stars, who have won four of their last five games.
Nashville got one goal each from Ryan Suter, J.P. Dumont and Ville Koistinen. Radek Bonk had two assists.
Dan Ellis started the game in net but was pulled after two periods when he gave up four goals on 18 shots. Chris Mason finished by yielding two goals on 11 shots for the Predators, have lost three of four.
