COL BKB: Stanford 79, California 69

STANFORD, Calif., Feb. 24 (UPI) -- Stanford's Anthony Goods scored 20 points and the ninth-ranked Cardinal held off California in the fourth quarter Sunday to beat the Golden Bears 79-69.

Brook Lopez added 15 points and nine rebounds and Mitch Johnson and Robin Lopez scored 11 points apiece for Stanford (22-4, 11-3 Pac-10).

Free throws by Brook Lopez and Lawrence Hill in the closing minutes helped the Cardinal stay in front.

Ryan Anderson and Patrick Christopher each scored 15 points for Cal (15-10, 6-8).
