ANAHEIM, Calif., Feb. 23 (UPI) -- Samuel Pahlsson scored 32 seconds into overtime Friday, giving the Anaheim Ducks a 2-1 victory over St. Louis.
The Ducks won their third straight, with Jean-Sebastien Giguere having to make only 16 saves.
The game was scoreless through two periods before Erik Johnson gave St. Louis the lead by beating Giguere with a wrist shot 2:17 into the third.
Teemu Selanne scored on a tip-in two minutes later and it stayed deadlocked until Pahlsson brought a quick end to the extra period.
Anaheim is in the midst of a seven-game homestand, on which the Ducks are now 3-1. Anaheim has won eight out of nine games since Selanne decided to postpone his planned retirement and rejoined the team.
St. Louis had won four of its previous six games.
Manny Legace made 26 saves for the Blues, one game after being removed against Los Angeles for giving up four goals on 19 shots.
