COL BKB: Baylor 92, Kansas State 86

WACO, Texas, Feb. 23 (UPI) -- Curtis Jerrells had 24 points Saturday to help offset a 44-point barrage by Michael Beasley in Baylor's 92-86 upset of No, 25 Kansas State.

Kevin Rogers had 18 points and 10 rebounds and LaceDarius Dunn had 16 points for Baylor (18-8, 6-6 Big 12), which snapped a four-game losing streak.

Beasley set a Big 12 record for points in a single game, breaking the record of 43 held jointly by Clarence Gilbert of Missouri and Texas' Reggie Freeman. Beasley also had 13 rebounds for Kansas State (18-8, 8-4), which has lost two in a row.

Bill Walker added 31 points and 11 rebounds for the losing Wildcats.
