TAMPA, Fla., Feb. 21 (UPI) -- Oakland Raiders cornerback Fabian Washington and Denver Broncos running back Andre Hall have been arrested in separate incidents in the Tampa, Fla., area.
The Manatee County Sheriff's Office said Washington was arrested Tuesday and charged with domestic battery after he allegedly grabbed his girlfriend forcefully during an argument, leaving "slight red marks" on her neck, the Tampa Tribune reported Thursday.
Washington was released Thursday on $2,000 bail.
Hall turned himself in Tuesday at the Pinellas County Jail after a warrant was issued for his arrest following his failure to appear at a Feb. 5 arraignment on charges of driving with a suspended or revoked license, said Pinellas sheriff's Sgt. Jim Bordner.
Bordner said Hall was released on $513 bail about an hour after he arrived.
"It was a mistake," said Hall's agent, Jonathan Kline. "We talked about it today."
"He was in town and out of town," he said. "He'll have to go to court and pay a fine and he's done."
