SACRAMENTO, Feb. 21 (UPI) -- Ron Artest and Kevin Martin combined for 55 points Wednesday and Sacramento pulled away in the fourth quarter to defeat Atlanta 119-107.
The meeting came less than a week after the teams put together a big trade that sent Mike Bibby to Atlanta in exchange for four players and a draft pick.
The Hawks, however, lost their fifth straight in what was the second game in a five-game road trip.
Artest scored 29 points and Martin had 26. Together, they teamed to help the Kings dominate the final period.
Sacramento had a one-point lead early in the fourth quarter before going on a 13-2 run from which the Hawks could not recover.
Josh Childress led Atlanta with 18 points and Bibby had 17. Sacramento won its second straight after losing three in a row.
