CHICAGO, Feb. 20 (UPI) -- Nikolai Khabibulin made 38 saves for his first shutout of the season Wednesday in Chicago's 3-0 decision over Minnesota.

Dave Bolland scored twice, giving him the first multi-goal game of his career. Khabibulin has 37 career shutouts.

Patrick Kane also scored and Rene Bourque had two assists for Chicago, which beat Minnesota for the first time in 10 tries. The Wild lost their second straight.

Kane scored 3:49 into the game, putting in a rebound off a shot by Robert Lang.

Bolland's first goal came with 20 seconds left in the second period. He added a goal at 5:24 of the third with a slap shot that carried so much velocity it knocked goaltender Josh Harding on his backside before caroming into the net.
