RALEIGH, N.C., Feb. 20 (UPI) -- Tyler Hansbrough scored 32 points and grabbed 12 rebounds Wednesday in carrying No. 3 North Carolina past North Carolina State 84-70.

The Tar Heels also got 21 points from Wayne Ellington while rallying from a six-point deficit late in the first half.

It was the fourth straight win for the Tar Heels (25-2, 10-2 ACC). Hansbrough made 11 of 19 shots from the field and 10 of 13 from the line to complete a sweep of the Wolfpack this season.

North Carolina point guard Ty Lawson missed his fifth straight game with a sprained ankle.

North Carolina scored the final nine points of the first half and then went on a 12-0 run early in the second period. The Tar Heels owned an 18-point advantage with just over six minutes gone in the second half.
