DENVER, Feb. 18 (UPI) -- Defenseman Nicklas Lidstrom was lost with a knee injury Monday, but the Detroit Red Wings ended their six-game losing skid with a 4-0 win over Colorado.
Henrik Zetterberg paced the Red Wings with two goals. Chris Osgood, in for injured goalie Dominik Hasek (hip flexor), made 18 saves en route to his 47th career shutout.
Lidstrom was checked into the left wall by Ian Laperriere early in the contest and fell awkwardly to the ice. He attempted to get up and resume skating, but was assisted by a referee before being aided into the locker room. It is unknown when Lidstrom will return to action.
Pavel Datsyuk had three assists for the Red Wings.
Jose Theodore allowed four goals on 40 shots for Colorado, which has lost four in a row.
