
LOUISVILLE, Ky., Feb. 18 (UPI) -- Terrence Williams scored all 12 of his points in the second half Monday to help 23rd-ranked Louisville hold off a late rally to beat Syracuse 61-50.
Andre McGee also scored 12 points for the Cardinals (21-6, 11-3 Big East), who got their sixth straight win and stayed tied atop the conference with Georgetown, which beat Providence, 68-58, Monday afternoon.
Arinze Onuaku led all scorers with 16 points and had eight rebounds for Syracuse (17-10, 7-7), which lost for the third time in its last four games.
Paul Harris added 13 points, but the Orange shot just 29.1 percent from the field and were only two of 20 from three-point range. Donte' Green had nine point and 12 rebounds for Syracuse, but hit just three of 15 shots, including one of 10 three-point tries..
