NHL: Montreal 5, Philadelphia 3

PHILADELPHIA, Feb. 17 (UPI) -- Montreal's Alex Kovalev scored a goal and added two assists Sunday, leading the Canadiens to a 5-3 win over Philadelphia -- the Flyers' seventh straight defeat.

The Canadiens, who have won three straight games, swept a weekend series, having beaten Philadelphia 1-0 Saturday in Montreal.

Francis Bouillon, Michael Ryder, Saku Koivu and Maxim Lapierre also scored for the Canadiens. Andrei Markov had three assists and Andrei Kostitsyn added two more.

Braydon Coburn, returning from a four-game injury absence, had a goal and assists for the Flyers.
