Former NBA player Orlando Woolridge arrested for theft


PACIFIC PALISADES, Calif., Feb. 17 (UPI) -- Phil Mickelson shot a 1-under-par 70 Sunday to win the Northern Trust Open in Pacific Palisades, Calif., his 33rd victory on the PGA Tour.
Mickelson finished at 12-under 272 at the Riviera Country Club, two strokes ahead of Jeff Quinney, who shot 71 Sunday.
"I've wanted to win this tournament for a long time," Mickelson said. "It is pretty cool. Riviera is such a great golf course."
Quinney was trying to win for the first time on tour.
Luke Donald and Padraig Harrington both shot 68 and tied for third-place at 7-under 277.
Ryuji Imada and Scott Verplank were at 278 and Robert Allenby, K.J. Choi, J.B. Holmes and Stuart Appleby finished at 279.
