COL BKB: Purdue 71, Northwestern 56

EVANSTON, Ill., Feb. 16 (UPI) -- E'Twaun Moore scored 28 points Saturday to keep 23rd-ranked Purdue in first place in the Big Ten with a 71-56 victory over Northwestern.

Keaton Grant added 15 points for the Boilermakers (21-5, 12-1 Big Ten), who have won 11 straight since a Jan. 8 loss at ninth-ranked Michigan State.

Kevin Coble led Northwestern (7-16, 0-12 Big Ten) with 13 points and seven rebounds. Michael Thompson, with 10 points, was the only other Wildcat to reach double figures.

Northwestern suffered its fifth straight loss and its eighth in its last nine games.
