Tommie Harris' wife dies

DENVER, Feb. 13 (UPI) -- Teemu Selanne, who sat out the season's first 56 games while contemplating retirement, scored his first goal and Anaheim eked out a 2-1 road win over Colorado.
Samuel Pahlsson later scored the game-winner and Jean Sebastien-Guiere turned aside 32 Avalanche shots as the Ducks improved to 5-0 since Selanne returned Feb. 5.
Selanne's goal tied him with Paul Kariya for the franchise points record at 669.
Marek Svatos scored for Colorado, which lost after winning two in a row. Jose Theodore made 27 saves.
The Avalanche were without Paul Stastny (appendectomy), Ryan Smyth (broken right ankle) and Joe Sakic (hernia surgery).
