TORONTO, Feb. 13 (UPI) -- Chris Bosh scored 27 points Wednesday, powering Toronto to a 109-91 win over shorthanded New Jersey.
Jason Kidd, Malik Allen and Antoine Wright all sat out the game for the Nets after being part of a trade the team attempted to pull off with Dallas earlier in the day. The trade, however, did not immediately go through because one of the players who was to come to New Jersey in the deal -- Devean George -- chose to invoke the no-trade clause in his one-year contract with Dallas.
With Kidd out of action, Toronto rushed to a big first-half lead and coasted to the victory.
Jose Calderon made nine of 12 from the field and scored 22 points for the Raptors, who shot 51 percent for the game.
Vince Carter and Richard Jefferson both scored 15 for New Jersey.
Toronto built a 62-41 lead at halftime and led by as many as 25 points in the final period.
