
DALLAS, Feb. 10 (UPI) -- Antti Miettinen scored his 11th and 12th goals of the season Saturday to help the Dallas Stars pound the St. Louis Blues 6-2.
Mike Ribeiro recorded a goal and two assists to help Dallas build a 4-2 lead after two periods. Jussi Jokinen and Jere Lehtinen scored one goal apiece.
Matt Niskanen and Mike Modano both had two assists, while normal backup goalie Mike Smith stopped 27 of 29 shots to earn his 11th win this season for the Stars, who won have won six straight games.
Marty Turco missed the game with a sore neck.
St. Louis' Jamal Mayers had a goal and an assist. Jay McClement scored once.
Hannu Toivonen allowed four goals on 15 shots and his replacement, Manny Legace, stopped six of eight shots for the Blues, who have dropped three in a row and 10 of their last 12 games.
