PITTSBURGH, Feb. 10 (UPI) -- The Pittsburgh Penguins announced Sunday that goalie Marc-Andre Fleury, who missed 28 games because of injury, was sent to the minor leagues for conditioning.

Fleury suffered an ankle injury in a game against the Calgary Flames Dec. 6. His record this season is 9-8-1.
