COL BKB: Vanderbilt 66, South Carolina 65

COLUMBIA, S.C., Feb. 9 (UPI) -- Jermaine Beal dribbled the length of the court and hit a layup with 0.6 seconds left Saturday to give 20th-ranked Vanderbilt a 66-65 win over South Carolina.

Shan Foster had 21 points and eight rebounds for the Commodores (20-4, 5-4 SEC), who won their third straight game. A.J. Ogilvy added 15 points, eight rebounds and five assists.

Evaldas Baniulis scored 19 points and made all five of his attempts from three-point range for the Gamecocks (11-11, 3-5).

Zam Fredrick added 13 points, Dwayne Day 10 points and nine rebounds, and Devan Downey 10 points and seven assists for South Carolina.
