Tommie Harris' wife dies

DALLAS, Feb. 8 (UPI) -- Dirk Nowitzki helped Dallas build a big third-quarter lead Friday and the Mavericks coasted past Memphis 92-81.
The Mavericks won their third straight and have beaten the Grizzlies 10 straight times in regular-season play.
Nowitzki scored 21 points while playing only 26 minutes. He made seven of 10 shots from the field. Devean George added 13 points and Brandon Bass had 12.
Dallas had a 23-point lead going into the fourth period and it took 12 straight points by the Grizzlies just to get them within 90-79 with 62 seconds remaining.
Rudy Gay led Memphis with 18 points. The Grizzlies lost their fifth straight and have dropped seven out of eight.
