COL BKB: Stanford 72, Oregon 43

PALO ALTO, Calif., Feb. 8 (UPI) -- Robin Lopez led a balanced attack with 15 points Thursday and No. 9 Stanford ran away from Oregon 72-43.

Lawrence Hill made four of six three-point shots and scored 13 points while Brook Lopez added 12. Stanford (19-3, 8-2 Pac-10) won its ninth consecutive game.

Oregon (13-9, 4-6) was led by Tajuan Porter with 12 points. The Ducks, who shot just 29 percent from the floor, have dropped five out of six.

Oregon scored the game's first three points and Stanford then went on a 16-4 run to take charge. The Cardinal shot 56 percent in the first half en route to a 37-23 advantage at the break.
