Former NBA player Orlando Woolridge arrested for theft

PATTAYA, Thailand, Feb. 6 (UPI) -- Top-seeded Agnieszka Radwanska survived a first-round scare Wednesday at the Pattaya Women's Open tennis tournament in Thailand.
Radwanska was tested in a 7-5, 7-6 (7-5) decision over Vania King as the first round of the tournament wrapped up Wednesday. Eight second-round matches are scheduled for Thursday.
No. 2-seeded Casey Dellacqua had a much easier time with her tournament opener, stopping Akiko Yonemura 6-2, 6-3. Also advancing Wednesday were fourth-seeded Chan Yung-Jan, who beat Zhou Yi-Miao 6-4, 6-2 and ninth-seeded Tzipora Obziler, who swept by Noppawan Lertcheewakarn 6-1, 6-2.
Other first-round winners were: Anne Kremer, Andreja Klepac, Vesna Manasieva and Sunitha Rao.
