NBA: Boston 111, LA Clippers 100

BOSTON, Feb. 6 (UPI) -- Rajon Rondo produced a career-best 24 points Wednesday and Boston dominated the fourth quarter to down the Los Angeles Clippers 111-100.

The Celtics played their fifth straight game without star forward Kevin Garnett, who is out with an abdominal strain.

Ray Allen had 19 points for Boston, Tony Allen chipped in 17 and Paul Pierce 15.

The Clippers were led by Corey Maggette with 33.

Boston had an 84-81 advantage after three quarters and then scored the first six points of the final period. Eddie House made a three-pointer with the shot clock running down to give Boston a 107-96 advantage with 1:27 to play.
