UNIONDALE, N.Y., Feb. 5 (UPI) -- Jean-Sebastien Giguere made 25 saves in his fourth shutout of the season and 29th of his career Tuesday when Anaheim beat the New York Islanders 3-0.
Scott Niedermayer, Todd Marchant and Doug Weight scored for Anaheim, which had lost its previous six games.
Teemu Selanne made his 2007-08 debut and had an assist and four shots in 18 minutes.
New York Rick DiPietro allowed three goals on 26 shots as the Islanders lost their fifth straight and fell to 4-8-4 in their last 16 games.
