NHL: Florida 8, Toronto 0

TORONTO, Feb. 5 (UPI) -- Richard Zednik had a hat trick and Tomas Vokoun stopped 24 shots for his 25th career shutout Tuesday when Florida buried Toronto 8-0.

Brett McLean had a goal and four assists, and Nathan Horton, Olli Jokinen, Cory Murphy and Steve Montador also scored for Florida, which won its third straight game.

Toronto goalie Vesa Toskala started and allowed four goals on 15 shots before he was pulled midway through the game. Andrew Raycroft also gave up four goals, on 11 shots.

The Maple Leafs have lost four of their last five games.
