NBA: Dallas 107, Orlando 98

ORLANDO, Fla., Feb. 4 (UPI) -- Josh Howard had 28 points and seven rebounds Monday, powering the Dallas Mavericks to a 107-98 victory over the Orlando Magic.

Dirk Nowitzki added 20 points and nine rebounds, and Jason Terry 20 points for the Mavericks, who beat the Magic for the ninth time in the last 11 meetings. Brandon Bass scored 16 points for Dallas.

Dwight Howard had 28 points and seven rebounds for the Magic, who had a four-game win streak broken. Hedo Turkoglu had a triple-double with 13 points, 12 rebounds and 13 assists.

Maurice Evans had 16 points, Keyon Dooling 14, Rashard Lewis 13 and Carlos Arroyo 12 for the Magic.
