NEW YORK, Feb. 4 (UPI) -- Sacramento's Brad Miller and Orlando's Hedo Turkoglu have been selected the NBA players of the week, the league said Monday.
Miller was picked for the Western Conference weekly honor after three double-doubles for the week of Jan. 28-Feb. 3. The Kings won all three contests.
Miller had two-20-point, 20-rebound games, joining Chris Webber as the only other Sacramento player to turn the trick. His 21 rebounds against Charlotte last Wednesday marked a career high.
Turkoglu claimed his second consecutive Eastern Conference player of the week award as Orlando went 3-0 last week. He averaged 24.3 points, 8 rebounds and 6.3 assists in those games.
Also considered for NBA player of the week honors were: Cleveland's Zydrunas Ilgauskas and LeBron James, Detroit's Tayshaun Prince, Houston's Yao Ming, Seattle's Kevin Durant and Utah's Deron Williams.
