Published: Feb. 3, 2008 at 8:33 PM

LA JOLLA, Calif., Feb. 3 (UPI) -- The U.S.-Germany Fed Cup quarterfinal matches in California were postponed until Monday because of rain.

The teams are tied at a victory apiece going into the final day's play.

Rain washed out Sunday's matches but the forecast looked promising for Monday, officials said.

American Lindsay Davenport is to play Tatjana Malek, while Davenport teammate Ashley Harkleroad takes on Germany's Sabine Lisicki,

In doubles, Davenport and Lisa Raymond are to play Anna-Lena Groenefeld and Julia Goerges.

The U.S.-Germany winner goes against defending champion Russia in the semifinals in April.
