NBA: Cleveland 98, LAClippers 84

CLEVELAND, Feb. 2 (UPI) -- LeBron James, who missed a game with a sprained ankle, had 28 points and 11 rebounds Saturday to lead the Cleveland Cavaliers past the LA Clippers 98-84.

The Clippers, who have played their entire season without forward Elton Brand and guard Shaun Livingston, were also missing their two leading scorers, forward Corey Maggette and center Chris Kaman, who were sidelined with the flu.

Zydrunas Ilgauskas had 22 points and 13 rebounds for Cleveland, which has won 12 of 15 games in 2008. Drew Gooden had 14 points and 12 rebounds for the Cavaliers.

Al Thornton came off the bench to get 23 points and seven rebounds for the Clippers, who have lost five of their last six games. Cuttino Mobley had 19 points and Tim Thomas 15 for Los Angeles.
