EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J., Feb. 1 (UPI) -- Chris Drury scored twice Friday to lift the New York Rangers to a 3-1 victory over the New Jersey Devils.
His 14th goal this season snapped a 1-1 tie at 2:06 of the second period and was the game-winner.
He scored his 15th on the power play at 19:56 of the third after an assist by Blair Betts into an empty net to end the scoring.
Brandon Dubinsky scored his eighth unassisted at the 4:00 mark of the first to stake New York to a 1-0 advantage at the first intermission.
Henrik Lundqvist stopped 33 of 34 shots for the Rangers, who bagged the fourth win in their last five games while improving to 5-0 this season against their perennial Atlantic Division nemesis.
New Jersey's lone goal was the 19th for left wing Zach Parise early in the second.
Martin Brodeur stopped 23 of 25 shots for the Devils, who fell to 5-8 in their last 13 games against the blue shirts.
