DURHAM, N.C., Feb. 1 (UPI) -- Greg Paulus led a second-half charge Thursday that rallied third-ranked Duke to a 92-72 whipping of North Carolina State.
The Wolfpack owned a nine-point halftime lead, but wilted under a Duke comeback that saw Paulus make five three-point shots and score 22 points. Kyle Singler added 19 points and both Gerald Henderson and DeMarcus Nelson had 18 for the Blue Devils (18-1, 6-0 ACC).

Duke hit six of its first eight shots in the second half and took the lead with a 15-5 run. The Blue Devils enjoyed a 17-3 burst later in the half that gave them a 72-58 advantage with nine minutes to go.
Gavin Grant scored 26 to lead North Carolina State (17-7, 2-4). The Wolfpack have lost four of their last six.
