NHL: Minnesota 5, Anaheim 1

ST. PAUL, Minn., Jan. 30 (UPI) -- A goal and an assist each from Brian Rolston and Pierre-Marc Bouchard Wednesday carried Minnesota to a 5-1 whipping of Anaheim.

Marian Gaborik, Mikko Koivu and James Sheppard also scored in helping the Wild win for the third time in four games and stay atop the Northwest Division.

Niklas Backstrom picked up the win with 20 saves.

Anaheim has lost four in a row, giving up 15 goals in that stretch. Jean-Sebastian Giguere allowed three goals on 11 shots before being replaced by Jonas Hiller.

Rolston and Gaborik scored 38 seconds apart early in the second period to get Minnesota rolling.
