NHL: Boston 3, Nashville 1
BOSTON, Jan. 29 (UPI) -- Glen Metropolit scored two third-period goals Tuesday, lifting the Boston Bruins to a 3-1 win over the Nashville Predators.
Marco Sturm also scored for the Bruins, who have won four of their last five games. Tim Thomas made 37 saves for his second straight victory.
Alex Radulov scored the lone goal for the Predators, who have lost two in a row after a three-game win streak. Nashville's Chris Mason allowed all three goals on 28 shots.
