EAST LANSING, Mich., Jan. 27 (UPI) -- Drew Neitzel and Kalin Lucas scored 18 points each Sunday to lift 10th-ranked Michigan State past in-state and Big Ten foe Michigan 77-62.

It was the only meeting this season between the bitter rivals.

Michigan State scored the game's first eight points and led 11-2 before a 12-0 run gave UM a 14-11 advantage with 11:06 left in the first half.

All of Michigan's points in the spurt came after three-pointers, the last two by forward Anthony Wright.

Michigan State then regained control to seize a 35-27 lead at the half and won the second half scoring battle 42-35 after an opening 10-1 run.

Forward Raymar Morgan added 13 points and five rebounds for the Spartans (18-2, 6-1 Big Ten), who have won four in a row and topped UM for the 10th straight time at their Breslin Center.

Michigan was led by 11 points apiece from Manny Harris and Anthony Wright.

The Wolverines (5-15, 1-7) have lost four in a row.
