COL BKB: Marquette 79, DePaul 71

MILWAUKEE, Jan. 27 (UPI) -- Dominic James scored 19 points Saturday as 20th-ranked Marquette pulled away in the second half for a 79-71 victory over DePaul.

The Marquette Golden Eagles (14-4, 4-3 Big East) stopped a two-game losing streak. Jerel McNeal added 15 points and Lazar Hayward 14-points and seven rebounds in the win.

Mac Koshwal had 19 points and 12 rebounds and Draelon Burns also had 19 points for DePaul (9-10, 4-3). Dar Tucker added 12 points and six rebounds.

Marquette led by only two points at halftime, but scored the first nine points of the second half.
