CHICAGO, Jan. 25 (UPI) -- Pascal Leclaire recorded his NHL-leading eighth shutout of the season Thursday, giving Columbus a 1-0 victory over Chicago.

Leclaire had just one shutout to his credit coming into the season.

The Columbus goal came from Jared Boll in the second period. The Blue Jackets ended a five-game road trip by winning for the sixth time in eight games.

Chicago has lost two in a row after winning four straight. Nikolai Khabibulin surrendered one goal on 27 shots.

Khabibulin has lost his last seven starts, but he has received just 10 goals worth of support in those games.

The teams have met four times this year with Columbus having won three times.
