NBA: New Orleans 106, Milwaukee 92

NEW ORLEANS, Jan. 21 (UPI) -- Tyson Chandler had 20 points and 15 rebounds Monday, powering the New Orleans Hornets to a 106-92 victory over the Milwaukee Bucks.

Chris Paul added 16 points and 10 assists and sparked a second-half surge when Hornets outscored the Bucks 32-13 on their way to their fifth straight win.

Peja Stojakovic scored 18 points, and David West had 16 points and eight rebounds for New Orleans, which has won eight of its last nine games and moved into a tie for first place in the Southwest Division.

The Hornets are 28-12 for their best record through 40 games in franchise history.

Michael Redd had 19 points and seven rebounds, Charlie Villanueva 18 points, and Andrew Bogut 13 points and 15 rebounds for Milwaukee.
