KITZBUEHEL, Austria, Jan. 19 (UPI) -- Swiss skier Didier Cuche outraced American Bode Miller and Austrian Mario Scheiber Saturday to win a World Cup downhill event in Kitzbuehel, Austria.
Cuche finished in 1:52.75. Miller, of Bretton Woods, N.H., and Scheiber were both clocked at 1:53.02.

The victory put Cuche atop the overall cup standings.
Marco Sullivan of Squaw Valley, Calif., placed sixth.
