Vikings' Asher Allen retires at age 24
WASHINGTON, Jan. 19 (UPI) -- Josh Duncan, Drew Lavender and C.J. Anderson paced a steady Xavier attack Saturday, helping the 20th-ranked Musketeers top George Washington 74-66.
Duncan and Lavender scored 14 points apiece. Anderson added 13 and collected eight rebounds.
Xavier (15-4, 3-1 A-10) won for the seventh time in its last eight games.
Maureece Rice of the Colonials (5-8, 1-2) was the game's leading scorer with 22 points.
