WASHINGTON, Jan. 15 (UPI) -- Alexander Semin had two goals and an assist Tuesday, lifting the Washington Capitals to a 4-2 victory over the Ottawa Senators.

Alexander Ovechkin and Mike Green also scored for the Capitals, who won all four meetings with the Senators this season. Washington goalie Brent Johnson made 26 saves.

Dean McAmmond and Wade Redden scored for the Senators.

Ray Emery blocked 23 shots for Ottawa, which has lost two straight since losing Dany Heatley. Heatley suffered a separated right shoulder Saturday that will keep him sidelined for six weeks. The winger is second on the Senators in goals (25) and points (56) this season.
