COL BKB: Boston College 76, Miami (Fla) 66

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass., Jan. 15 (UPI) -- Rakim Sanders scored 20 points Tuesday as the Boston College Eagles swept aside the 24th-ranked University of Miami-Florida 76-66.

Tyrese Rice had 14 points, eight rebounds and six assists for BC (12-4, 3-0 ACC), which has beaten Miami in 13 straight meetings. Tyrelle Blair had 12 rebounds and 11 points.

Jack McClinton had 20 points for Miami (14-2, 1-1 ACC), which failed in its attempt to break the school record for best start to a season. James Dews added 15 points.
