COL BKB: Rhode Island 80, Duquesne 78

KINGSTON, R.I., Jan. 13 (UPI) -- Jimmy Baron's jump shot with four seconds to play Sunday lifted No. 20 Rhode Island to an 80-78 win over Duquesne.

Duquesne had a chance to tie or win the game after Baron's shot but lost the ball on a turnover.

Will Daniels topped all scorers with 28 points and added 11 rebounds for Rhode Island (15-2, 1-1 A-10). The Rams have won 10 of their last 11 games.

Reggie Jackson scored 19 points for the Dukes (11-4, 1-1).
