BLOOMINGTON, Ind., Jan. 13 (UPI) -- Seventeen points by Eric Gordon and 15 by D.J. White topped No. 11 Indiana's scoring Sunday in a 62-58 win over Illinois.
A.J. Ratliff and Armon Bassett hit three-pointers, Ratliff blocked a shot and Bassett sank a couple of free throws in the closing minutes, enabling the Hoosiers to avoid an upset.

White pulled down 10 rebounds for Indiana (14-1, 3-0 Big Ten), which has won 10 games in a row.
Shaun Pruitt scored 14 points for Illinois (8-9, 0-4). The Illini have lost five straight.
