COL BKB: Duke 87, Virginia 65

DURHAM, N.C., Jan. 13 (UPI) -- DeMarcus Nelson poured in 20 points to give No. 9 Duke an 87-65 win against Virginia Sunday.

Gerald Henderson had 18 points and Kyle Singler had 13 for the Blue Devils (13-1, 1-0 ACC), who have won three in a row since their only loss Dec. 20.

Jon Scheyer chipped in with 12 points for Duke.

Sean Singletary lead Virginia with 18 points and Calvin Baker had 13 for the Cavaliers (10-4, 0-1), who have dropped two in a row.

Mamadi Diane had 11 points in the loss.
