NHL: Los Angeles 4, Dallas 3 (SO)

LOS ANGELES, Jan. 12 (UPI) -- Patrick O'Sullivan's goal in a shootout delivered the Los Angeles Kings a 4-3 win Saturday over the Dallas Stars.

After O'Sullivan scored in the fourth round of the shootout, Kings' goalie Jason LaBarbera blocked a shot by Mike Ribeiro to save the victory.

Anze Kopitar, Derek Armstrong and Alexander Frolov got the other Los Angeles goals. LaBarbera finished with 23 saves.

Matt Niskanen, Jeff Halpern and Loui Eriksson scored for Dallas, which has lost six of its last eight games.
