Dunn leaves Pitt staff; Hafley promoted

PITTSBURGH, Jan. 11 (UPI) -- Pitt Coach Dave Wannstedt announced Friday that offensive line coach Paul Dunn is no longer with the football team.

A report on the Panthers' Web site said Dunn, a former Pitt player who held the job for three years, "is pursuing other opportunities."

Wannstedt also announced the promotion of Jeff Hafley from graduate assistant coach to coach of the secondary.

Hafley previously was an assistant on the University of Albany staff for four years.
