
All three players lead their teams in scoring and -- since they are all 22 or younger -- represent a youth movement in the NHL. Getzlaf, Kopitar and Colorado's Stastny are among seven Western Conference players selected to their first All-Star Game.
The other first timers are St. Louis goaltender Manny Legace, Chicago defenseman Duncan Keith, Edmonton forward Shawn Horcoff and Vancouver forward Henrik Sedin.
The NHL announced the 16 reserves for the Western Conference All-Star team Thursday.
In addition to the first-time All-Stars also joining the Western Conference team were goaltenders Chris Osgood of Detroit and Evgeni Nabokov of San Jose; forwards Joe Thornton of San Jose, Jason Arnott of Nashville, Marian Gaborik of Minnesota and Rick Nash of Columbus; and defensemen Sergei Zubov of Dallas, Ed Jovanoski of Phoenix and Chris Pronger of Anaheim.
The NHL All-Star game is scheduled for Jan. 27 in Atlanta.
