COL BKB: Villanova 64, Pittsburgh 63

VILLANOVA, Pa., Jan. 6 (UPI) -- Villanova's Dante Cunningham sank two late free throws, lifting the sixteenth-ranked Wildcats over No. 13 Pittsburgh 64-63 Sunday.

Pittsburgh had a chance to regain the lead after Cunningham made the free throws with 10.3 seconds remaining but lost the ball on a turnover.

Malcom Grant scored 22 points for the Wildcats (11-2, 1-1 Big East).

Sam Young had 16 points and Keith Benjamin 15 for the Panthers (12-2, 0-1).
